Lions sign legit nba vet! This is huge!!!! But how sustainable is a signing like this? He must come with certain salary demands.

Played 3 x the amount of nba games as liggins, was a starter and played euroleague last year. Definitely higher quality than him and not sustainable at all. Be good if he plays

That's impressive. Dude is genuine NBA material, playing several seasons and still only 33 so not past his prime yet. His best season he averaged 8 and 7 as a starter for Denver. When you think how good fringe NBA players have been in the BBL over the years, guys who maybe played just a few games and averaged 2 points a game...this guy should be a lock for MVP!

Incredible for Lions and a real statement of intent to be signing a player who probably could still be playing Euroleague.

He must love playing to agree to come to a comparatively small time league, even with the euro entry. He can't need the money, sure they'll be paying well for him, but he must have earned millions by now. Whatever the motivation it's great for UK basketball to see we're capable of attracting this calibre of player.

Definitely unsustainable, we can just enjoy it while it lasts. What a statement of intent!

They have just signed Kareem Queeley as well
I’m loving that they are stacking up on the Brits, And I’m very happy we get to see just how good he can be as it was doing him no good being stuck in the Spanish reserves

Going to be fun watching Rob and Riders trying to compete with Lions
I think we will still cause them a few problems
Way more than the differing salary budgets should suggest we will
