Agree this is a hard one, London destroying Cheshire the other week definately seemed like a statement revenge win.
And they have won more games over the Nix but Cheshire have shown they can defeat them. And like the Trophy Final I think it depends on which team shows up for London. I'm going to go out on a whim here and say Cheshire for this one.
But I'm sure London will want to go big for the playoffs especially if they want to make a claim for why they should be in Europe next year. And with the final being in Londons back yard they should want to really be at the O2 in the few weeks in front of their fans.

We have the ability to compete with them, knowing the way Nix can play at home but also knowing the way Nix can play away, hanging on in the away leg is vital. Any reasonable result on Friday could see an upset on Sunday, remember Rocks thought they were safe in the trophy second leg. Oh one other thing confused me in you post, what true Lions fans? Other Nix fans who went to the Copper Box the other week couldn't believe the crowd being educated about what and when to shout and chant plus the 'canned' defence chants and crowd noise.

True, I forgot that getting fans on board was probably one of the things London and 777 were quite weak at. It honestly wouldn't suprise me if their social media was to put a statement out to believe this is going to be a best of 7 series like the NBA. I know probably stating the obvious but I think with these 2 teams its a matter of which teams show up. On the Trophy Final Cheshire looked like they wanted to be there whilst London looked like they could be bothered to even get out of bed that day. Which is what I think was the biggest difference between the 2 teams from the game I watched. Although they did win the most recent game against them and beat Manchester this weekend just gone to secure 3rd. I'm just going to say I think we might have a better idea of how this one is going to go after the 1st leg is done.

Lions seem to have improved a bit and have some momentum last couple of weeks
So I'm expecting them to win
But would love to see Nix beat them

Well as a Londoner (as opposed to Lions fan)- have to say that’s the worst coaching and playing performance I’ve ever seen by any basketball team above junior school level! They may well turn it around and win the tie but Jesus!

Well Bristol vs London should be an interesting 2 leg rematch after they faced off on route to the Trophy in the Semi Finals at this stage.
Whilst Bristol lost that one I have a feeling they might take it this time. And I'm sure their happier to be playing London then Leicester Riders at this stage.
Although if the right London team manages to show up and come alive. Then London could look to seal their place at home stage Final!

69-38 Lions 2 from 19 at 3pt attempts For me these games were all about the 3 point success rate and depth of bench. In the first game Cheshire were 1/25 (4%) in the 3pts. In the second game London were 7/31 (22%) in the 3pts. Complete role reversal. Ultimately it was London's bench depth that got them the win. Looking forward to Semi-Finals this weekend, but London really need to start playing more than just 2 quarters of good basketball.

Delayed afterthought, but I've got to give credit to Bradley Kaboza. Once again an excellent performance from the youngster, and it should be somewhat embarrassing for some that in a team with NCAA D1, G-League, and NBA experience, a contender for MVP was once again a 20 year-old recently promoted from an NBL D1 team. He's certainly one to watch.
