Lions look like they gonna snatch this despite being complete shambles.
Nikhil is a good guy-shame his legacy is going to be one of chaos at Lions.
They’ll be spanked in the play offs

Rocks nearly snatched defeat from the jaws of victory in the 4th quarter but did enough to win comfortably in the end. JJ put in a great performance for Glasgow. A lacklustre show from Lions for three quarters. Washburn singlehandedly got them back into the game but he was allowed to get at least four unchallenged good looks for 3 pointers.

Quality player who will be firing on all cylinders next season, I'm sure.

Great performance yesterday, sadly not enough to win the game/carry the rest of the team though. As for next season, I just hope he's still there and the new owners don't completely clean house. With Vince gone Justin is perhaps the only reaming pillar of the 'old' London Lions. But that aside, I still think he deserves a place on this team, and shouldn't be replaced by yet another 'big name' signing with a couple of weeks NBA experience.

LTfan - agree that there's little point offing Robinson just for an American PG, but there must be plenty of upside in putting just a percentage of his wedge towards someone like Baboza i.e. a player with a future rather than one just seeing out his final days in an easy gig for him. Get a player in with desire rather than another Stanley Matthews.

Get a player in with desire rather than another Stanley Matthews. Do the 2 have to be exclusive, I'd like to see Robinson remain and some investment in the likes of Baboza too. It doesn't all have to be about players who have a handful of NBA games experience. Have a feeling this could be the end of Justin Robinson. Can see him retiring Assuming there's a slot for him I think it depends on what he's got lined up for after his playing career. He's come home and set up a young family in London, so unless he's got something else lined up I can't see him retiring just yet. Nor do I think he should. Having said that, if Lions don't want him I can't see him uprooting his family and going elsewhere to continue playing... apart from perhaps Surrey which he could probably still commute to.

He said he wants to be a social worker, wonder if he spent his rehab training ? Good luck to him. But I hope he's not thinking about retiring just yet. I still think he's got a few more years in him, but ultimately it probably comes down to where he'll earn the most money nowadays. And I respect that. He might also feel he no longer has the connection to Lions he once had, which is sad.

He said he wants to be a social worker, wonder if he spent his rehab training ? That could be a great job for him But he should play as long as he can earn a decent wage IMO He will have many years ahead of him as a social worker
