I rest my case.....
I was luckily enough to be at the game tonight. Incredible occasion. Great performances from both the men and women.

Just watched the Men's team defeat Canada what a performance! Took it to the wire but had them on the ropes most the game. I hope I can catch the final if I find out what time it is on.

slowly getting hooked on this as something to watch on tv. tough loss for Scotland men, really unfortunate timing of the knock to draw blood on Gareth. Looking fwd to the bronze match where hopefully go that one stap further than in the 5v5 England's men continue to look great on D and they are more than ready for that Aussie physicality that Scotland just ran out of steam on. Hope they get the gold - and how do we get Jackman into the BBL? England's women - what a 4, they got it all. Just as you think their opponents has an advantage over them - they hussle, they block, they cancel out those perceived advantages. Wonder how many coaches have looked up to see where Hannah Jump is in her college time and when she will be ready to talk the pro leagues.
Never saw either Scotland women squads as was working when they were playing - did see the OT tough one for england wheelchair men. hard on them but shows what 3x3 brings that tv likes.

I just watched Scotland vs Canada Bronze medal mens match. Hardlines Scotland but the Canadian team were pretty good.
I will say this whilst 3 v 3 might not be everyone's cup of tea I think it actually goes really well for the Commonwealth Games and it's nice they included the para sports as well.
Look forward to seeing England get a medal later and hoping its Gold rather then Sliver. If they play like they did last night I think we have a good chance.

I found it pretty boring, not because Scotland didn't win a medal but just the concept of 3x3. Give me 5 on 5.

England Men win! 🥳🏴🥇 When Jackman missed those 2 jump shots I thought we had blown it until Hesson was like "I'll do it myself."
I really hope this boosts Birminghams chance of getting a (stable) franchise into the BBL one day.

That was a great watch. The 3x3 ball is absolutely messed up btw, makes for a weirder game.
How huge was that shot from Hesson to win!!!!

I haven’t really been a fan of 3x3 but that was good and they deserve their success, hopefully all these medals help with funding too

It was clobbering time from Australia but somehow England adjusted and came out winners. Amazing.

Looking at the Commonwealth news headlines, the basketball finals and winners are not mentioned. Typical of the trend for the press, for some reason they seem to ignore this great sport. England's win was as entertaining and exciting as your ever going to get. We don't stand a chance

England's win was as entertaining and exciting as your ever going to get. We don't stand a chance I saw the ladies sliver medal get a brief mention on BBC Look North News this morning but that was it. I tend to find games coverage usually focuses on Atheltics, Swimming and Cycling most the time hence the reason I watch the red button when i want to watch something else.

Have to say I used to enjoy playing half court back in the day. 2 on 2 or 3 on 3. Many playground games of that ilk but sometimes on a proper court. It's very hard work as you don't stop and there's no ambling up and down the court opportunities. That makes it pretty intense. However as a spectator sport I definitely prefer the full court by some way. Plus side is we clearly have a better chance to be successful in 3x3!
