With the infection tearing through the country at a hell of a rate I wonder what effect it will have on some fixtures. Teams are bound to be affected. Although in theory nothing is in place to stop you playing I reckon teams will isolate players asap to get them back quickly. I think any day now teams will be declaring they have significant numbers affected and unable to play. Thoughts?

Rightly or wrongly no legal obligation to isolate anymore. Tests difficult to come by. So unless players are too unwell to play then I’m not sure the drama you predict will actually happen.

Covid is still around but by this point in both Sports as well as everyday life, people have accepted the fact life goes on. By now if anything is going to stop the BBL I can't see it being Covid anymore. Personally by this point I would rather go to a game and get it then stay locked up at home in fear.

Then I take it you are a younger person for I could not disagree more. Covid is rampaging the country and the North East in particular. I see a packed Sports Hall as a super spreader event. Having personally witnessed the effects of long covid my attitude remains the same. I don't want it and if I do get it I am determined not to pass it on. Thank goodness for BBL player and Sky. I can still support from afar.

With no other plans in place or time left to rearrange it would have to be a 20-0 forfeit.

Short notice cancellations happen in other sports, even at the fully professional level. Last night Worcester Warriors had to call off their Premiership rugby game at Gloucestyer as they were unable to field a full side.
If a fully professional side can be affected so badly by injuries, is it surprising that an amateur side has to call off a game?

You may not say that if you have never had it, I tested positive on the 15th, triple jabbed and it knocked me for 6 for a while, I’m negative now but am absolutely knackered doing the smallest amount, Please don’t take it lightly, Take care of yourself.
