I hope Cheshire enjoy their Trophy presentation today and Manchester can beat Glasgow in order to push them back in the playoffs race for the Eagles.
Manchester are on a good run at the moment so hopefully they will extend this streak.

so much spirit in this Rocks side at the moment - almost playing with a score what you want on us, we will score 2pts more and take the W attitude.
not hard though to guess what Lloyd was chatting about at the final whistle with the officials - will be interesting to watch again, with a rule book in hand, what turned out to be a momentum changing moment

That’s eagles down to 9th isn’t it?? Take note coach mac . After this weekend as an Eagles fan I think I'm now going to start pushing that panic button now. As sad as it is to say at this moment we don't deserve to make the playoffs if we are barely scoring and playing woeful defence. And to make things worse we're up against Lions who despite their struggles managed to get a win over Bristol and then the 2 trophy winners in Riders and Nix. Wouldn't suprise me if on Friday Riders decided to show up with suitcases packed ready to send us out the playoffs next weekend!😔 |

It's very easy to commit to another season with a current club when you're part of a winning team, harder to stay at a struggling one. After an amazing run of success could this be a time for Fletcher to move on to somewhere new? Is this when Darius finally thinks it's he's had enough keeping up with players 15 years younger? |

Back to the game tonight. A very tired and struggling Scorchers squad tonight, their defence was a second or two marking up and were punished with high calibre shooting from us. A number of threes from both Bradley and Wright were made with a player in front of them but that one second was all Nix needed. A good performance avoiding the dangers of relaxation after a Trophy win.
