I won't be there in person but I will certainly try to watch it though.
Obviously if I were to put money on it I'd back London as the favourites to win.
Although Cheshire do have some stars and out of the 2 teams one started the season not great and got better.
While the other team started the season off great and got slightly worse.
And in a one off game anything can happen.
If Okerforor plays like he does for Team GB and Austin Jr is allowed to run riot like he has done.
Then it could be a bad afternoon for the Lions.

Looking forward to watching this and the WBBL game on Sky this Sunday. I'm hoping for Sevenoaks Suns to beat London Lions in the WBBL game, but obviously London Lions to beat Cheshire Phoenix in the BBL game. There's probably not many with that preference.  By the way, both the WBBL and BBL Trophy Finals are only on Sky Sports Action this Sunday (not the usual Sky Sports Arena or the more available Sky Sports Mix). But both will also be streamed on the Sky Sports YouTube channel. |

Let's be honest, I don't think this now the game we thought it would be a week or so ago.
Cheshire have lost Ben Mockford to France.
Lions have lost Reece, JWH and Neighbour to injury, and released Washburn. And just lost to Manchester by 38 points as a result.
This just got a lot more interesting.

I'm a huge fan of that, betting on the one you want to lose. Then you have something to feel positive about either way! I always think, how much money would I be willing to part with to see my team win, and plonk it on the other team/player!

I'm a huge fan of that, betting on the one you want to lose. Then you have something to feel positive about either way! I always think, how much money would I be willing to part with to see my team win, and plonk it on the other team/player! Slightly similar, my uncle always keeps a twenty pound note in his funeral suite so he gets cheered up at some point during the day |

If only half of the circus performers turn out on Sunday like they did on Friday Vs Giants, then I can only see one way that this game will go,
Great for Jets to be competing against half a circus but not so great for a Neutral fan watching on the telly box,
Not that I am a neutral fan…….I’m in full Jets mode on Sunday….

Correct, Sky is now owned by Comcast (who also own NBCUniversal). Murdoch and News Corp have no involvement. As you say, there’s the Sky Sports YouTube channel which Sky don’t really profit from directly. There’s also BBL Player for anyone who’s still really got a hatred for Sky. Although I think you’d be mad to choose that coverage over Sky’s coverage for free on YouTube) which isn’t even actually produced by Sky. Anyway, getting back on topic… |
