I don’t know the rules on imports but Ratinho has a Portuguese passport if that makes any difference? Ratinho claimed his right to work in the UK as an EU citizen pre-Brexit, which appears to make him not count as an import by league rules somehow. Rod Glasgow is also American but has a British Virgin Islands passport. So that's 8 in all reality.

Yep. We have a lot.
I said it before when this was brought up. Sharks must be playing by the rules and there is info we are not privy to. I highly doubt the league would allow a team to have too many imports.

Tough loss for the Eagles. I'm not overly dissapointed in the performance but we look as though we definately need those reinforcements soon at the big man spot.
Especially when we play the ENBL teams that tend to have a lot of big men in their squads as well.

(and much time and effort) getting Rodney Glasgow’s British passport for him (he was entitled via his father). He then promptly left at the end of the season….

Just looked before at the DANZ site and can't find either of last night's games up on the site. Has anyone else got issues?

To be fair to Rodney, I believe the reason he left was due to the pandemic and Iceland was one of the few places playing basketball at the time. Whereas the BBL hadn't confirmed whether or not they were playing.
