Sharks v Phoenix should tell neutrals a lot about both teams. Can't decide who will be the victors.

Sharks nothing if not predictable. Go up by about 15, let opponents back to within 5 or 6 at end of half. Let's hope they find some offence after break or the Nix will be sniffing blood.

Blummin awful from Sharks AGAIN. Offence is so so static. No speed or movement. Just ISO or 2 man game.
Atiba also has a prevalence for taking off players that are scoring and playing well. Mitchell kept coming out, as did Groves.
Winds me right up. Arguably I think Sharks are one of, if not the most talented team on paper but just play so badly.

Unfortunately, the game's played on wood...

Allen-Eikens is really good. JWH has started the season really well. I'm pleased to see Neighbour get some decent minutes today and I thought he played quite well. And interesting to see Delpeche replace Defoe as the starting center. Some good performances from other players too but I'm still learning their names. All in all a very good start to the season for Newcastle.

Neighbour has plenty of work to do to convince the fans after last seasons performances from him Last season was frustrating and he's lucky to have a contract, but you've got to be happy to get 15 minutes out of him. Hopefully he manages to stay injury free most of the time.

You know a teams played like crap when Skylar White goes off from 3 (5 from 9 today) he's a good player on his day but easily stoppable and extremely one dimensional.

Great game again for the Eagles which had a similar style and feel to it as what the game I watched against Flyers was like.
I think Gladiators will prove a tough test for us next weekend but glad to see us start 2 for 2. Good to see Neighbour aswell play some minutes aswell.
As for Manchester you could tell Callum Jones has his work cut out for him but I admire him for taking on the job. I hope Manchester can somehow turn their fortunes around as a franchise and become more secure.
Although it was waved off that buzzer beater from beyond the mid way before half time was certainly an impressive shot. Even as an opposing fan I wanted them refs to count it.

Very true about Skylar White, good player on his day and every coach knows exactly what he's good at. Unfortunately for other teams he still carries on doing the same things but " easily stoppable"? Not too sure about that ( and long may it continue).

Had to turn the sound off on the Sheffield game, how can they think all that awful music they play during the game is a good thing. Sounds like a tacky kids party.
Eagles have looked more like a real team than they did last season, with the ball moving quite nicely most of the time. I do worry about Llewellyn playing point guard, he doesn't look comfortable at all there. Spencer has slotted back in to top level basketball quite nicely.

Who was the point guard you had a few season ago that was out of his depth too?

Who was the point guard you had a few season ago that was out of his depth too? We had a few in Steutel's first season. They ended up settling on David Cohn, who was OK but really wasn't suited to the league at all.
