Best Arena for Traveling Fans?

Who has the best arena for traveling fans?

I had the pleasure of going to Sheffield, Leicester, Bristol, Manchester & London last year. (my home town team are the Nix so...)

Leicester & Manchester you end up on the side, past the end of the baseline (Leicester fans around us were to drunk to watch the game by the second half also parking is a nightmare)

Sheffield has a really nice arena, away fans are stuck a little in the corner but not that bad.

London was big and empty, we were front row on the baseline, but felt miles away from the court, also food was ££££££££

Bristol, we were right behind the away bench it was small and the atmosphere was pretty good


For me it is a toss up between Bristol & Sheffield

Hoping to make it up to Newcastle this year!!

What are thoughts?

Definitely get up to Newcastle, usually a very enjoyable visit.

If you do visit Vertu Motors Arena this season johnjack I suggest you avoid wedging yourself right in the corner behind the Nix bench. If you sit there you might find yourself slightly behind the baseline. Whether that section is also full of shitfaced Geordies not watching the game I couldn't possibly tell you, but I reckon it's unlikely.

Honestly, there are things not to like about attending games at Mattioli Arena, the parking arrangements very obviously being one of them. But shit views and pissed up fans aren't part of the problem.

As I no longer have a season ticket I usually sit in the unsold away fan seats at the VMA . Never seen drunken behaviour and often good craic with away fans.

One of the aspects that I enjoy about going to basketball is the good natured banter between fans. Last season there were some unsavoury moments that crept in and I hope that doesn't develop.

Went to Newcastle years ago now, was absolutely brilliant. Couldn't understand the commentator but they beat bristol by 40

Don't worry we sometimes don't understand the commentators either.
Although amusingly I remember some fans telling the DJ's off last year when they were playing some explicit tracks over the speaker system.
