So it all kicks off 27th Sept. I think we have to look on the bright side as worse case scenario (no more league) has been avoided and so has a 7 team league, and so has a one season hiatus. Some will argue the latter may have been better but I don't agree and certainly not with 9 teams. It's not really enough but it's enough to have a season over not having a season.

Absolutely amazed they got a league together so quickly. Great to see basketball back.

Anyone who thought a year off is a better option isn't thinking straight and most certainly didn't support a club that took a year off

What happened to the doom monger with the agenda ?
Was always so quick to jump on any potential problems?

I think we should be happy we have a league to look forward to
Reebok as kit supplier is an odd choice, I know they were active in Football, Bolton had Reebok kits and their stadium was Reebok as well. I also remember when the A-League in Australia started that they supplied the kits for all the teams, decent design, I prefer it when teams have different suppliers rather than one.

Looked at the Eagles Fixtures we certainly have a lot of games and seem to be playing some teams like Cheshire and Sheffield alot early on and then we don't seem teams like Bristol and Leicester until later on in the season.
I sure hope we put together a deep roster as these games on top of the ENBL games makes me worried we're going to struggle with injuries come November. And that's if no one turns up already injured like last season.

What happened to the doom monger with the agenda ? Was always so quick to jump on any potential problems? [br Whoa. Far too early mate to be pulling out the trumpet! No agenda but no blind eyed optimism either. The “Super” league has a long way to go before an actual tip off with no name for Manchester, no full roster for London and announcing fixture on a dropbox link don’t instill me with much confidence. The model is broken. No fault to the dinosaurs who keep this charade going. The CEO of Lions is that same bloke from 777? Really. And the new owners taking over majority stakes should worry us all as it seems to me a chance for legacy owners to take some money off the table and pass actual business risk to unsuspecting yanks who when they figure out the real deal, will head for the hills. The funny bit though is that the same people who were so happy 777 came into the league are now slagging them off as incompetent. I guess once the money runs out, time to pull the plug. The charade may carry on a bit longer but the flawed model and the tendancy to ignore this this crucial bit, will lead to another reset. But, looking forward to tip-off in November I guess?
