Fascinating item on PTI today - at a team USA media thing, it turns out that LeBron, Curry and Embiid cannot spin a ball on their finger! Now I always just assume pro ballers can do that, certainly most seem able to. I was really surprised especially Curry can't do it as a point guard, but I suppose it isn't a pre-requisite to play the sport! You just kind of expect that with their level of skill it would be something they can do. I can spin a ball on my left hand, all fingers - and keep it going with my right hand. Yet, I am right handed and cannot for the life of me spin it on my right hand! So I kind of get it that they can't, I am not sure its something you can practice to get better at. With me it just kind of happened one day after a few attempts and I went from there, a bit like riding a bike. But on the right hand, it's never been something I can even get close to doing.
How about you folk? Can anyone do any tricks or anything fancy with it as well?

I'm a racket sports player so good hand eye co ordination and I cannot.
I once took a bball to work and a semi pro footballer who is not into bball took the ball and effetlessly spun it on his finger for a long time. It's still a mystery to me how this has happened
