Are there any Russian or Ukrainian players in the league? Most sports are banning Russians from taking part at the moment. I feel sorry for them as it's not their fault, but it feels like the right thing to do.

The NBA have just pulled out of Russia too. No russian players currently in the NBA but they do have 2 Ukrainians who have issued a statement condemning the invasion.

I think Worcester had several at one stage. I cannot remember any Russians at Wolves but they definitely had some Lithuanians. Artūras Masiulis, Arnas Kazlauskas, Evaldas Žabas and Aleksas Zimnickas. Had to check Wiki for the names but they were brutal to play against. Seem to remember one of them forearm smashing an Eagles player at Sports Central then getting the foul in his favour! |
