On a side note, I’ve noticed Surrey/London, Newcastle/Caledonia and Bristol/Cheshire are all scheduled for the same time on Friday night. The BBL production facilities only have the technical capacity to produce 2 games simultaneously - so will one game not be broadcast? In response to myself… I’ve now had it confirmed - the Surrey/London quarter final game 2 won’t be streamed anywhere. Bit of a poor show from the league in my opinion. To be honest I'm a little dissapointed that the league hasn't managed to televise any of the playoffs games so far on Sky or announced which ones their going to show this weekend on main TV. Seems a bit odd considering the amount of build they made in the run up to the playoffs. |

Just had my usual rerun of last night's game, certainly was a real turn around in the second half. Skyler's a real big game performers and certainly got the very large crowd up on their feet. Big crowd again, not a sell out as sometimes claimed by other but definitely a squash for latecomers.
I think the after match interview comments from Ben were great, he really didn't like that comment about lucky win and despite Dan's attempt to deflect him away he wasnt going to let her escape. A follow on from his " no fans" post match interview.
Lot made about Greene being a real influence on the game, 5 fouls and 2 points fron a couple of free throws ( hope that comment doesn't bite me in the bum next game)!

Really admire Coach Thomas - direct answers to questions and he consistently recruits well. This season he has done an amazing job. The team gelled very quickly, despite new recruits. Coach of the year imo. Defeated (crushed, actually) Lions in the cup final when not many gave them a chance, including me. |

Seems a bit odd considering the amount of build they made in the run up to the playoffs. No Sky coverage this coming week either, just a replay of a London/Surrey game from a couple of weeks ago. Maybe they're saving their quota to broadcast a few of the semi final games (i.e. more than one a week), but that's just a guess. |
