Sad thing to read but no different to what happens in other sports.

Although in the footballing world their is now becoming a growing criticism for banning players from gambling but also allowing sport to be surrounded by betting sponsors all the time.

I think their is also criticism for lack of help for players who might have gambling issues.

There are a lot of articles in the american media concerning the conflict between taking funding from gambling organisations and the harm done by the constant, and unavoidable, adverts for the same gambling companies.

I'm not sure MJ was limiting himself to assist with under bets on him though 🤣
