That's such a shame, I really enjoyed the format this year. Watching the other semi final as a neutral was great.

There's a next season? Hmmm. I wouldn't be buying tickets just yet!

How about semi finals in a neutral venue. One of the BBL teams arenas would do. Sheffield, Leicester, Newcastle for example. Both hold a few thousand and would probably be packed out for a stinking atmosphere rather than an expensive oversized arena where everyone leaves once their team is done. (Admittedly I did watch all the games in Birmingham this year on both days, but I watch most games on YouTube to.)

If you buy using your credit card and it costs more than £100, if it all falls through you can get your money back from your credit card provider. It's called a section 75 claim.

Semi final teams will want these games to be at their own courts to maximise income. Neutral venues will only benefit the neutral teams.

That's such a shame, I really enjoyed the format this year. Watching the other semi final as a neutral was great. I agree I too enjoyed it and liked the format. But when watching the finals on TV you could clearly see during the semi finals their wasn't as many seats filled which is why I'm not suprised they have decided to scrap a final 4. I wonder what this means for the format of next year's competition though? Cause I would happily keep the January mid season Trophy month format. And maybe even instead of an All Star game they should just bring back the Cup and run it as a traditional knockout competition starting from beginning of season and run it through to March. Then keep the playoffs as a best of 3 series. If the BBL did that you would then have competitions along with the Championship itself that are all different in some way. You could even host the Cup on a smaller scale in a BBL team venue. If the BBL did that then you would
