Whilst the officials are used to getting the brunt of many fans, players and officials. Over the course of this season in the league we have seen an unusually high number of ejections this season not just from players but also coaches.
This past weekend their were atleast 2 coach ejections (that I'm aware of) for Sheffield with Atiba on Sky and on Saturday for Marc of Newcastle. Recently we even seen ejections for coaches Gareth, Rob and the Manchester coach as well.
Whilst I don't doubt the ejections may have been warranted I am suprised to see so many happening over the course of one season.
Having just watched the Eagles@Scorchers it made me want to ask the question and start a topic on. Do you think coaches and players are becoming to irate and need to reign it in? Or do you think officials are starting to have less tolerance for drama?
What side are you on?

Well Rob and Atiba can't have been surprised. Both merited 2 technicals. Can't speak for the rest.

Maybe it's intentional, to add some drama to make the league more interesting. Like a pantomime.

That's one theory I was wondering as it seems like officials are skipping the warnings and going straight to technical foul. The only worry I have with this is it seems like coaches and players aren't going to be allowed to even discuss or challenge any calls if the officials are too quick to call a T. But then again it shows the players and coaches need to be smarter to avoid being unlucky.
