Well Bristol vs London I said the other day I believe Flyers could test the Lions. I suppose today will be a good chance to test that theory.
After their Eurocup exit I wonder how Lions will be feeling ahead of this one? Will they be keeping the same intense squad?
Sharks I expect to beat Giants again although it would be nice to see Giants show some fight especially at home.
Nix vs Gladiators a tough one to call and probably the most exciting game of the 3 today.
Gladiators have a great team and a good player in Green. But if theirs one thing I learned about Cheshire this season is you can't underestimate them.

And leave a three point shooter open? And leave Moore standing under the basket on his own? Next idea anyone? Replies to B Thomas c/o Nix Scotland before 4 p.m. Alternative question. How do you solve a problem like Rideau/ Rai? It's gonna be a close one!

Hmmmmm, nunber of empty seats in there for a sellout. Probably given tickets and didn't want to see their team lose.

How have the Nix ended up with the same useless ref theee game on the trott Even with the referees’ help, you still couldn’t win. Even with four players injured on the Gladiators branch.

And leave a three point shooter open? Yep Why not Because then Palyza scores a three to take the game to overtime.

Thank you to all those who made suggestions on how to stop Q Green, any more ideas out there?
Great game from both teams, thought we'd done it near the end but the first couple of minutes in overtime did for us.

Hmmmmm, nunber of empty seats in there for a sellout. Probably given tickets and didn't want to see their team lose. given the seats that could see empty on the broadcast - fair guess due to their prime position in the central area that they are season ticket holders and as we are in the middle weekend of the 2wk school holiday, high odds some season ticket holders are away on family holidays or other events certainly weren't any seats available to purchase there in the ticket system

And leave a three point shooter open? I'm beginning to think that foxprorawks is secretly a member of the Caledonian coaching staff, conning Nix into thinking Palyza won't get any 3's.

Because then Palyza scores a three to take the game to overtime. Leave him man to man and he will torch you for 30 Points, pick your poison

Well I was right about 2 out of 3 games. Nix vs Caledonia certainly looks like it was a cracker.
Looking at the table now it looks like the fight for 2nd is going to be intense and it looks like across the season both teams split the meetings 2-2. I will let someone else figure out the head to head totals on that one.
As for the other games Giants vs Sharks looked like Giants played slightly better until the final quarter whereas London clearly aren't slowing down now their out of Europe.
I suppose Bristol being in 8th could explain the result but as we saw on Thursday that Bristol team ain't exactly terrible and put the Riders away comfortably. Although for everyone apart from London it's hard to see this Lions team not cruising towards Playoff silverware.
All I can say is for the Semi final stage if the Semis does comes down to Sky are deciding between Nix vs Caledonia or Lions and whoever draws the short straw against them.
I would prefer to watch the competitive series between Nix and Glads as opposed to a one-sided Lions blowout in the other series.
