This is going to be an interesting game for Riders - will they play better with Allen back in the fold and is Holmes going to be fit enough to play too? We showed real fight against Patriots and won in double overtime. However, Sharks' defence is pretty effective and ours certainly wasn't against Plymouth for long periods. Very important to secure the points and develop some momentum if we possibly can.

Firstly I hope Leicester play so hard they run out of gas by the time they play us on Sunday. Second reason between these 2 teams right now I would actually feel more confident against Riders then Sharks at the moment in a best of 3 series since Sharks have taken the series 3-1 against us. Out of these 2 teams as well Sharks seem to have found better form at the moment as of late whilst Riders are having issues connecting as a team and seem to be playing through one man in Teddy Allen. For Leicesters sake I hope they can prove me wrong and make up for last weeks TV disaster.

Phoenix bandwagon to roll over Patriots. Let's hope so, Patriots have nothing to play for and those could be the most difficult. Im not too sure however that the acclaimed Nix travelling supporters are referred to as " bandwagon " ( PS, I'm not one of the ones with the drums, tonight I'm sitting behind them)

We're not even at the end of the first Quarter and we've already had numerous mentions of the All Star Game and been told about the college and area of the states that Thomas and Pipkins comes from by Todd on commentary. 🤣
Looks like a great crowd in for Sheffield though.

Leicester have to share the ball better and stop turning it over. Allen on fire but need others to score too.

Turnovers almost cost us but Kimbal played a captain's role to guide the team through to a big win. Ramsey was great for Sharks. Shame Holmes isn't fit enough to play and Russell wasn't used either - recurrence of his injury problem?

Even though we won I’d tell Duke Shelton to walk home after his antics, That unsportsmanlike like foul nearly lost it for us He sure does make some dumbass decisions.

Well all I can say for Leicester is thank god for Teddy Allen. Talk about a get out of jail victory at the end when Erytle Rock had that nearly open shot at the bucket to almost force overtime.
Suprised the Sharks lost that one since they only needed to stop one player but credit to Leicester for victory. And another great game in front of the cameras. As I said last night these mid table battles are going to be intense come the playoffs.
I wonder how Sky are going to run the playoffs if it is a best of 3. Will they focus on just one game per round, follow one match up for all 3 games on Sky. Or will they try to dip into a few match ups. Either way I think their going to be spoilt for choice.
Whilst I hope we beat them on Sunday again I'm glad Riders defeated the Sharks in the end. Although having said that Riders played well and are starting to look a little better then us at the moment judging by recent form.
If I was Eagles looking at this game I would just be looking to makesure we keep Allen quiet which we did a great job of last time. And pray that his discipline sees him pick up foolish technicals like he did when he lobbed the ball at the wall. But I think for both sides Sunday could be anyone's game.
On a final note whilst I appreciate the Lions are playing Euro Cup it would have been nice if the broadcasters gave some warning they were going to share the result before telling us. I was planning to watch the game tommorow and wanted to avoid the result before Jeanette gave it away. Would have thought if fans were tuning into the BBL this evening that some may watch the game back on record.

Don’t think DUKE is on robs Xmas card list right now I wonder what happened to the Riders fan who said "I'm sure Rob will sort out the bad habits he picked up from the Eagles?" I agree along with Teddys slamming the ball off the wall that was a dumb judo flip on Koch at the end. When he went back to the bench I couldn't believe acted like he had been hard done to by the officials. I'm not sure about Christmas card list but I have a feeling he might not be on Robs re-sign list come the end of the season.

Unusual incident in the last minute with Patriots Green ejected for DQ foul. Even though I was there didn't see why?

There's no excusing Shelton's stupidity. It was clear through the game that he felt like he was getting hard done by, but at that stage of the game you've just got to suck it up and win the game. With regards to Allen's technical, I get why it was called but is it really that different to the many instances of players slamming the ball on the ground in frustration and catching it that don't receive attention from the referees? Anyway, I thought Sheffield adjusted well to Allen in the second half but that obviously left gaps for the others to operate in. I don't think I was confident of the result at any point other than about half a second before Duke started practising for his WWE audition. All in all, an enjoyable Friday evening.

Not many teams have managed to stop him. But we couldn't stop Ramsey either. There are quite a few BBL players who are difficult to stop. Allen's not unique.
