Green & Moore are a perfect pairing. Two of the best in the BBL. Glasgow's defence is also on a different level from ours. They really put the pressure on for the whole 40 minutes. Shooting 70% for 2 and 3 pointers is some feat. Given we were missing 2 starters we managed to cling on to within 12 points till the last 3 minutes but let's not kid ourselves that we were ever in contention to win. It was damage limitation. I think we have to look to next season for a fresh influx of players. Whether we will have the resources to recruit and compete with the likes of Cheshire, Eagles and Glasgow is key - the arena was nowhere near capacity last night so our income from ticket sales must be severely affected. Riders could always point to their defensive skills as a team and know we were capable of consistently getting stops to give ourselves a shot at winning. That hasn't been the case this season in quite a few games and last night was no different.
