Well looks like the Riders winning streak over the Patriots finally came to an end today.
And thankfully it did us a favour in the standings as we push for top 3.
From what I have seen this weekend it would be good if Patriots could make a push and heat up the race for 8th spot.
From watching Manchester and Surrey it looks like those teams fell asleep at the wheel right now in comparison as the sky game on Thursday they looked so dull and uninspired.

I don’t think Rob was to impressed with Duke Shelton,
A few minutes after his unsportsmanlike foul he was substituted out and never came back in.
Rob will definitely take a stand against a player even if it sacrifices the result.

more the point he couldn't make a play. nothing to do with the u/s. Walker was more impactful

I don’t think Rob was to impressed with Duke Shelton, A few minutes after his unsportsmanlike foul he was substituted out and never came back in. Rob will definitely take a stand against a player even if it sacrifices the result. I'm not surprised that Rob appeared to be unimpressed with Shelton, but if he wants to let him go, and get a decent big, he's got to do it before the end of February. Particularly important since we don't know how bad Sam Idowu's knee injury is, it might put him out for the rest of the season. |

They have 12 days rest now. |

I like watching Nix. They have a few interesting and talented players so it's good entertainment just seeing them play. They have a small budget, it seems they can't afford the wheel able stand alone baskets. Quite remarkable story really

Seriously we play in a large sports hall with retractable seating, we have to tape all those perky badminton lines before every game then untape them afterwards. Our storage space is shared between all the normal equipment in these places. Come and watch us play, you stand and admire our retractable roof mounted baskets as well as an exciting and enjoyable game. |

OK I've had my tea now. Great game tonight, Don't think anyone was bothered at all with the idea that we had to win to stop Lions winning the league, that ship sailed long ago. We had to win to put some distance from Caledonian and make sure they wouldn't get near 2nd place again. Wonderful performance from the whole team tonight, Gareth Murrays plan to have Alihodzic stick to Skyler opened up the centre where he normally blocks gave space for Rideau and Rai to get to the basket. Points all around again, strangely the man in form over the past few weeks, Christon ended with zero, just shows its a team where anyone can score points.

He was well out of his depth playing the worst team in the league today. That U/S looked like frustration at the way the game was going. Only 9 assists for Riders, as talented as Allen is he does take away a lot of what has made Riders successful over the years as well. I don't think they're winning anything with him there. |
