Scorchers-wise, it appears Jamison is now back in the country. Whether he'll be available to play or affected by jetlag is a big question though.
Really hoping the boys can step up and pull off a win in what is almost certainly our biggest game of the last however many years. It's a big ask, but the fact that we're even thinking about Birmingham shows how far we've come since going 6-57 over the last two league campaigns.

Cheshire are a good team and I fear that fatigue might play into it as well. The Scorchers put a lot into the game Thursday night and have had a lot of travelling to do, so to go again less than 48 hours later against a well rested opponent will be tough. If Jamison can play that would be a massive lift, I don’t think Tayo has another performance like that left in the tank!

Ironic that Gladiators need Cheshire to win. Social media might be fun.

Not the reason we’re not going to Birmingham, but the scheduling of this group stage was a mess.

Was Surrey Sports Park literally on fire today? I'm guessing that's Cheshire through and top of the group.

When you are a 1 dimensional team, and that dimension fails you get whopped as the Schorchers found out tonight, beaten by their opponents implementing a game plan that resembles their own but more rounded

It was really disappointing from Surrey, I knew the game would be tough but to not even get a run for our money in such a big game was a real shame.
They didn’t come out ready to play, their execution on offence was non-existent and when Cheshire went up 13-0 it was pretty much game over.
