A depleted London team (but still good by any other standard) against an on-form Leicester team… this one should be entertaining. If London had been playing in EuroCup this week I’d have predicted Leicester win this one, but as it stand I honestly think it could go either way.

Lions have made a habit of pulling the irons out of the fire in Q4 and it's hard to see past them winning at home.

We look so disjointed and shot selection is poor. Thomas benched because of his foul count. All very promising...

Riders in desperate need of a quality big. Rebounding is terrible.. offence looks terrible and 1on1. They aren’t going to be able to rely on Teddy Allen to win them game after game. Sesan Russell turned out to be a poor signing as first thought.
Rob’s teams of the past have always had a good big. Mo Walker isn’t that guy and either is Idowu. Idowu should be at the 4.

Agree we desperately need a centre but when four of the starters score 6 points in the first half you know you're in trouble. Can't block out Sharma, Sandy, Grantham, Morgan to prevent second chance scoring.

Re-sign Nelson-Henry. Get him out of retirement.

It looked like a big attendance at the Copper Box today. Lions are building their fan base.

Sooner we put that performance behind us the better. Lions too good and crushed the rebounding.

Relying on 1 player, wanting a player out of retirement and having a difficult season after cutting players. Are you sure the Riders are becoming more and more like the Eagles post Fab?
To be honest I hope this Leicester team is what shows up when we play you guys in 2 weeks although I'm going to wait and see what happens for us against Bristol first before I predict a potential Eagles vs Riders for 2nd place in the Trophy group B.

Would be surprised if Gareth Murray is head coach of Caledonia again next season. If the owners have real ambition they need to recruit a high level head coach.

100% Murray is awful. Unpopular with the players, a poor recruiter and tactically inept hiwever he has clueless owners and that saves him. As someone on Twitter pointed out he has destroyed the Scottish core of the team and has recruited in the main a poor squad for the money invested. He must go!

Have to agree. A very emotional coach but that’s about it.
The Owners need to do what Lions did and hire a GM with experience in a high level club. And then a high level coach.
To be fair to them Lions took 2/3 seasons to sort themselves out and get to a good level. They still had Vince the first year of 777 involvement.
I think we will see Caledonia get better and better over the next couple of seasons.

After seeing the documentary, I was not impressed with his style and the way he handles people. I would not like to work for him.

I think we will see Caledonia get better and better over the next couple of seasons. To be honest I think since they won the Trophy last season it probably will give him some breathing space for a while. I agree from the documentary he was quite sharp but I thought Murray was quite respected throughout the BBL. As for the owner he comes across a guy who seems friendly but also isn't afraid to make tough choices and you probably wouldn't want to get on the wrongside of him. The fact Murray won a trophy gives him some points especially since it can take some coaches years to win a trophy and some non at all. I think it depends as well on what your measuring success on as well. For some clubs winning a trophy might be a sign of success. Whereas for some it is you must win or atleast be in contention for the championship. The former Eagles coach Ian Macleod won us all but the BBL championship but when we were struggling to make the playoffs it was goodnight Ian. Although he did walk away rather then be sacked.
