Ooh...let me think. This is a hard one to decide. unless you have seen a confirmed squad list for visitors - I'd disagree and say both are hard ones to decide

I'm expecting an even tougher game tommorow night against Surrey although I like to think we will win again. I have a feeling the crowd will have some fun in this one. I look forward to seeing if we can extend our winning streak.
As for Leicester vs London I'd like to think Riders but I can't see them surpassing London since their going through a transition period.
Although I imagine Sky will market this game in a way of Can Lions bounce back from defeat? And probably mentions of Gabe Oleseni's mustache and how it came about again. Not sure what fun facts they will have on Riders though.

Well looking at the weather outside today I'm questioning can Surrey do it up in the North East on a Snowy Friday night? I hope not however at the same time I hope they can make it up to us on time for tip and safely.

You expect to be beaten by the London all stars especially when they are all on show. They do not need the help of the refs as well some appalling calls in that first half

Can't believe the run this Scorchers team is on after the last few years.
Tayo with a liquid performance in the 4th!

Robinson was a joy to watch tonight. We missed too many lay ups. That aside it was still very watchable.

Despite losing, I thoroughly enjoyed tonight's game. Lions practically at full strength but we got it quite close at times. Proud of the Riders team.

Well looking at the weather outside today I'm questioning can Surrey do it up in the North East on a Snowy Friday night? I hope not however at the same time I hope they can make it up to us on time for tip and safely. Well to my above question can Surrey do it on a Snowy Friday night in the North East? Looks like the answer unfortunately was yes. Firstly credit to Surrey tonight it was a scrappy game at times but in the end they wanted the game more and took advantage of a lackluster Eagles tonight. I felt Robinson and Lawerence really showcased their veteran experience keeping them in the especially with Robinsons dagger 3's that we struggled to defend. Considering how much I criticised this team last month for bottling close games I truly eat my words and apologise. As for the Eagles though after a couple of weeks on a high tonight we looked like the lost Eagles from the start of the season. And the only way I could describe was like someone planning an outdoor barbecue expecting the weather to be gorgeous. But on the day of the barbecue it suddenly started raining and we couldn't then quite get the fire going. The Eagles tonight looked flat and we just couldn't quite get anything going. Yet despite this we had most things going our way. Throughout the game Surrey had the bitter end of the foul count yet we didn't seem to take advantage of that. The way the game was going I thought atleast 2 or 3 players might have fouled out not to mention coach Gardner looked like he could have easily been T'd Yet despite all this advantage we couldn't figure out a way to win the game. With 3 minutes to go in the 4th I thought we were going to steal as we were in control and no T/O fron Surrey despite having used non in the 2nd half. But then all of sudden Scorchers came back from the brink and took a deserved win. I also don't quite understand why towards the end we didn't bring Green back in sooner? For the Eagles the only saving grace I will say is Delpeche stepped it up and Whitfield had his best game so far for us. But apart from that it was not a great game for us today. My only hope is we can bounce back next week against Bristol. As we were walking out tonight you could see from the way Johnson and Mcgill were sat in looking in shock on the bench they couldn't quite believe how they were beaten tonight. Seeing how devasted they were felt like giving them both a friendly tap on the shoulders and say don't worry you'll get the next one champs. Although seeing Spencer once again out injured and Neighbour only playing short minutes which I suspect means he is carry something as well. I suspect our problems of not having a fully fit squad means we might be heading for another rough period. Overall though well done Surrey and for any Scorchers fans watching this from home I hope they enjoyed the game tonight from their team.

Big shout out to Sesan Russell who showed he has great potential, by playing fearlessly and really well against the very best team in the league. Impressive, especially as it was only his second game for Riders. We desperately need another player (or two) to beef up our offence but I'm not certain the money's there to do that. Seem to be lots of hints to suggest that the club's struggling a little. Rob's post-game interview was quite telling.

Just watched the Sky game it went pretty much exactly as I expected apart from Leicester kept it interesting all the way to the end. I think they were unfortunate that they were playing a well rested Lions and they haven't filled the void left by the departing players yet.
Not really much I could say about this apart from Russell looks like an exciting addition. As for London how Olaseni never gets T'd I have no idea? I reckon along with Mackenzie for Leicester the refs must have a favourites list of players they don't T.

Tell you what Robinson and Lawrence is a Decent back court for Surrey Especially when Eagles just stand and watch Robinson shoot a shot he's made a living from the last ten years. The difference between Eagles being a good team and a very good team is their attention to detail. Robinson should be top of the scouting report (I hope!) so why only start guarding him when he's already made shots? That was a very winnable game for Eagles if they'd just play some serious defense. Still a very frustrating team this at times. Surrey were good though, so fair play to them. Thoroughly deserved the win.
