Riders eventually got themselves sorted but were unconvincing for 50% of the game. Crandall has to stop complaining to refs and focus on his role as facilitator/scorer for the team. Getting yourself ejected isn't clever. I said from quarter 2 that I thought Crandall was walking a tightrope for an ejection and my prophecy unfortunately came true. He just seemed to be out of his zone and up for a fight all along. Does this result in a one game ban? I don’t think it does constitute a ban. Disqualification does constitute a ban ie refs signalling a disqualification with two raised arms. |

Hopefully the finger on leaving the court won't lead to more punishment.
Thankfully he had finished the sharks off before the ejection happened.
Angry tone among the riders with the refs was set early last night with Rob getting a t with no prior warning. Not sure how Lyons avoided one!! Sharks played hard and the refs let them largely get away with it.

What happened with the bench ejections in flyers v patriots game? Were the entire benches for both side ejected? If so does that impact tonight’s game? It looked like an exchange of words between Hassan and Samuels as Bristol called a time out - Marcus Evans off the bench rushed the court followed by both benches. Both benches ejected for walking on court. Game ended up 5v5 for part third quarter, fourth and 2 x OT. Bristol finished up with 4 on court. Just watch them both back, I agree to suspend Crandal would be silly as their wasn't much in it from the looks of things although I was surprised Rob didn't get punished for running on the court. As for Bristol vs Plymouth talk about a Derby game getting heated. I'd love to see the refs explaining this one if theirs any repercussions to be handed out. |

Damn got the Sky game mixed up - although Mike Tuck and the rest of the Sharks big guys may as well have been presenting on TV for all they contributed
Sharks and Atiba continue to be mediocrity personified - beat the rubbish and lose the tough ones. Seems to keep the management happy though

Would be harsh if there's suspensions I feel, for either team. Step in the court in that situation though and the rules are very clear. You're gone. I understand the Pats with no assistant, I can almost see Danny Magee turning round with his arms out wide stopping players being stupid. Shame he's no longer around. Bristol though, with two assistants. Should have been more switched on. |

Eagles/Rocks was some game which went right to the buzzer. Rocks played good offence and took full advantage of Eagles turnovers in the first half. Neither team played good D so once we cut out the turnovers we were able to get the lead back. Bunyan impressed again but Fletcher while not shooting as well had 13 assists. I'm still concerned about our lack of rebounding though. Overall, a happy bunny.

Just saw Loving played 40 minutes, when was the last time a riders player had that stat line! Robs system very rarely needs anyone to do that

Yes the Sharks played rough right from the start, but nothing dangerous or dirty and they continued as the refs didn’t pull it up,
That for me was why Rob got his T he was still ranting to his players and under his breath straight after, It’s great to see, it makes me laugh.
I thought Sharks put up a decent performance with Riders grinding out a win in the 4th and coming away with a deserved W.

I remember a few years back when Surrey's Hawthorne and Kuyinu stepped onto the court to separate 2 players and both were ejected and banned for 1 game after. It was far more inconspicuous than what happened at Plymouth...will be interesting to see if anything happens |
