Hope that Nix can keep the Lions at bay ready for a right royal showdown on Monday. As Charles and Camilla will be saying on the tube to Nix " Mind the gap".

Nix are doing so well against Lions, especially when they move the ball quickly. Hope that continues.

Terrific effort by the guys tonight result could have been so different but only 8 down lions could be in for a shock tomorrow if the noise is anywhere close to last week

That was an excelent game between two well mached teams, with the best two coaches in the BBL.
Just a shame that the winners now face an, almost, impossible task against a side with a budget 5-6 times greater.
The growth of the the Bristol side over the last few years shows what can be achieved by gradual, sustainable organic growth. They have moved ahead of clubs who were in the BBL for many years before them.

Phew that was close. Bristol were terrific and probably deserved the win today. Riders were lucky to get through. They were not at the races for most of the game and somehow still managed to grind out the overall victory.
Looking forward to another trip to the 02 and another shot at lions this time without dekker to win the game for them but equally happy if it were the phoenix

Cracking game tonight
Riders we’re pretty poor at times, but we never panic and held out to book another trip to the O2
Go Nix

That was the tensest Riders game that I have ever seen in all my years of supporting them.
The atmosphere at the arena was the best I have ever witnessed and those travelling Flyers fans were something else.
It was great to see two organically grown clubs go toe-to-toe in a game that was befitting of a final.
Onwards to Greenwich…….

Just watched the 2nd leg of Flyers vs Riders. I know the season ain't done yet but if their was an award for game of year then this would have certainly been a contender.
Honestly thought Flyers were going to pull off something magical. After being down by almost 30 in the 1st leg I'm astounded that the Riders only managed to win the tie by 3 points.
What a game! And a great advert for the BBL if any new fans were watching. Hopefully for Flyer although that loss may sting perhaps their new European adventure and arena could see them win silverware some time soon.
Hopefully now Nix will somehow take inspiration from this game and topple London later today.

Honestly can’t remember which season it was. What about the FIVE times overtime against Brighton Bears. It was a Sunday afternoon game at JSSC. We’d taken friends and were going for a late Sunday Carvery after the game. We had to keep calling the restaurant to say we’d be late & late & late
