I will take 200 kids coming for free to witness a true great finish to a patriots win.
Giants made 3 was clearly shot after the clock so Justice was served with Williams made shots. Patriots suddenly seem to be truly able to call upon multiple players to step up currently. Hassan, kofi, williams, hart all have big games in them.

Patriots take the H2H over Giants. There can’t be many on here that would’ve thought that was likely at the start of the season. PJ and the guys have done an outstanding job in turning the club around. An excellent weekend for the club.

..and we may well have won if it hadn't been for that pesky Josh Ward-Hibbert. A great performance by him, serving as an example to all the others on the Lions roster. Reminded me of how he was a catalyst for many Riders victories. Brilliant decision by their coach to start him.

That was a strange old game. Eagles couldn't miss in the first quarter and couldn't hit in the second. Bunyan had a great first half for Rocks with some outstanding long range shooting but like the game in general tapered off in the second. Still, a win is a win and a great weekend for Eagles.

Bunyan had a great first half for Rocks with some outstanding long range shooting but like the game in general tapered off in the second. Still, a win is a win and a great weekend for Eagles. Bunyan shot the ball well but was surprised by how easy Newcastle made it for him. They went under a few screens to leave him wide open, surely that should be on the scouting report. I think we got lucky playing Rocks with no Jordan Johnson. The Eagles really struggled with size and Ali Fraser (on one leg pretty much) changed the game when he came on. Still, nice to get 2 wins on the board especially with Plymouth (can't believe I'm saying this) looking a real team now. Even with Gordon out there I can't see Newcastle improving much, there are too many other issues with the roster. |

Rebounding has been an issue for Eagles all season. Just watched the Eagles@Rocks game and I can't believe we allowed Rocks back in it after taking a commanding lead in the 1st half. At least now we look more competitive and getting 2 wins for 2 is great although I think after our dominant win over Surrey. It was a reminder that we're not the full package and may struggle against Riders and Lions. I think how we play when we face both those teams in the same week WC 28th March could be a sign of how we perform in the Playoffs. Hopefully now we might find better form and be more of a force by then. |

Eagles Need to try and get 3rd Now Can't see it personally, think there are at least 4/5 teams better than us this year. Even with the addition of Gordon there are too many issues with this roster. We had a good weekend but against 2 depleted teams. I'm not getting carried away. |
