Manchester made the last 0.2 seconds exciting. Fletcher just kept talking. The refs didn’t like it. got really confusing as commentary talked about a fletcher T but we never had anyone shoot a shot with no lineup - then suddenly Kyle was shooting a shot with a lineup. I will admit game was over, was not fully listening ot the commentary and was chatting - but I did finally understand by looking at the stats play by play half way through Alihodzic shooting a pair of free throws, Fletcher got a T but so did Alihodzic so they cancelled each other out. However it was Alihodzic's 5th personal so he had to leave and his sub-in replacement Jimenz took the 2nd of his free throws. a bizarre close to the game - great win for Gladiators though |

I'm glad Eagles beat Scorchers, if only it keeps sone interest for the rest of the season. I don't have any great expectations if we do squeak into 8th but I do think we could give Lions a far better game than hapless bankrupt Pats.
