Well, it's not difficult - rule 1 is basically don't be a dick. If you can manage that you should be fine. We know that those who have shown they can't manage it aren't here, so you must be doing something right so far  |

I like to think rule 1 is a tacit (look it up) rule 🤣🤣🤣I have been logged in since Monday, no issues. Replied to a couple of threads earlier today, no issues. Went to reply to this tonight....and logged out. 15 seconds later and logged back in👍, no big deal. For me rule 1 is a basic rule for humanity. Disagree without being disagreeable, one of my life rules. |

I have run and moderated several forums/blogs and the time and emotional committment is immense. A mod has to have the ability to put personal opinion to one side and allow debate. That does not mean the mod is not allowed an opinion, far from it. They must allow and actively encourage counter arguments. Criticism in a debate can be a good thing (ourselves as others see us) but keep it respectful and the blog will blossom and grow. Not doing that contributed massively to the demise of Whatsbev and that really makes me sad. |

I honestly couldn't see any reason why you would need a second account ? I know people on bev that got banned set up completely new alias to get back on, hopefully that doesn't happen here

There was an issue with proboards generally, they do quite often seem to go down but its usually only for a short time. Welcome back, BTW!

If I search 'British Basketball Forum' on google the first site on the list is this one. Ive only just noticed that, is that just my experience because i have been on the site a few times. Or has that just happened naturally over time. Well done to Sam and Mile High and the rest.

Some posters on whatsbev have been asking for a link to this forum..... I PM'd one of them but now others (some with only one post) are asking for it too......advice please.
Post the link IMO If anyone joins and starts personal abuse or nasty stuff delete their posts and ban them at same time Who are the mods on here? Just need enough to be active each day to keep everything nice and friendly and on topic And everyone just show respect The last bit's brilliant. From the least respectful person on her. the loser who started the decline of whatsbev.com and is now well on the way to a repeat on here. Your constant spamming, your never-ending need to make everything about Riders (or anti Eagles) is absolutely tedious. Saying anything once (or even twice) isn't enough for you. And what shines through is that you know virtually nothing about basketball - either on the court or off. I've asked to be deleted from here, ironically for a place that was accused of being overly moderated no one seems able to do that. But this is my farewell. It'll be an absolute please not to read the garbage you spout. |
