We have seen him score heavily on occasion, so hopefully we don't get rid until we have identified a better prospect that is available.

The good games are too rare and you sense robs confidence in him ebbing away as shown last night

Thornton only 6 largely unproductive minutes. Is this the end? He was completely ineffective except for one great drive to the basket. But that's his only asset. Wasn't allowed on court in Q3 & 4. An American PG who wasn't injured but judged to be no help to his teammates in the second half. Why aren't the club replacing him? I think he's the least effective PG in the BBL atm. He can't be happy with the situation and nor can the fans. If we replaced him with another import there'd be time for that player to settle in and adjust to the plays/coach/team before the BBL Cup final. That would improve our chances of beating Lions. This hasn't just happened overnight with Thornton - he started very well in his first game but it's been downhill all the way since. I don't understand why he can't improve but it's plain for all to see he just doesn't fit into Leicester's framework. |

I'm afraid the truth is that he's not trusted to do a good job on court. It's getting embarrassing now just how little he contributes. |

If he was contagious then he wouldn't be anywhere near the team.
If it was an injury/niggle then he would not have got the minutes.

I wouldn't be unhappy if he decided to leave of his own accord. Envious of other teams with much better PG imports. Didn't remotely expect another Crandall but we've gone from sublime to ridiculous. |

Washington isn't fully fit yet but he played some minutes against Surrey. Been out for a while.
