That ridiculously awful missed layup by Menzies epitomises why some are so critical of him. An absolute sitter.

Eagles did well to get back into the game at the end but their execution from that point was terrible

Well done to Walshe! He stepped up tonight. Whelan, Jackson & Nelson-Henry did a great job. Played without Loving (in effect), Mackenzie and Washington tonight but just managed to hold on with some awful plays by Eagles in the final minutes. Menzies must improve. Thornton gave away 4 turnovers.
Winning away was an excellent result with key players out. Congratulations to Riders. Eagles allowed us too much latitude in Q1 and that made a big difference.

Eagles never come out with anywhere near enough defensive intensity regularly giving up 30+ point first qtrs, they can’t continue to do that and expect to win

Good win for a short handed Giants in Sheffield with big nights from the usual suspects and a step up game from Nick Lewis. Any win with no Lee and only 15 minutes of Roberson has to be lauded.
Sharks are horrible but effective. Clear Atiba had set them up to feed Koch in the post to draw fouls from Robertin and Roberson and take advantage of Manchester’s short and small bench. Latter especially got a few very cheap calls against him but showed his class when brought back to see the game out.
Good to get the losing monkey off Giants back.
And glad I don’t have to watch Sheffield every week 😳

So near but yet so far for Eagles! Another win for Rob Pastanostro according to the co Comms 🤣 I had crap Wi-Fi where I was so just watched the livestats play by play Could see Eagles creeping back and then take the lead Would have been a great come back from what I saw purely on the scores At least Eagles aren't just rolling over

Wow, I didn't see the game as I was out for a Christmas meal and someone ruined the score for me. I thought that was a good and atleast an improved scoreline especially compared to last month. Although the hearing the Riders were missing key players just like how Cheshire were missing Larry Austin the other week and we still couldn't beat them is concerning.

Once again Ogunyemi proving he's the most valuable player for Sharks by a million miles but playing the least minutes? His efficiency numbers are on a different level to the rest of the squad. Nelson missing is a massive hole - if he's not back imminently we need to get at least a temporary replacement.

17-0 to start the london Bristol game. The gulf between 1 and 2 really is huge

An absolute sitter. …..think he may have been fouled whilst taking that shot… I can’t see that as an excuse, The guys massive and strong and gets in the right position around the basket. He should be able to jam it home with both hands on the ball. It would take an aggressive foul to stop that, but most of the time it should go in. He need to practice in becoming a more aggressive player.

Yes Evan Walshe when we were short handed….. But Eagles were also missing Ubiaro and Mockford.
So coming away with a 4 point victory isn’t all that impressive, It wasn’t as if we were missing some of our starting 5
Looks like Eagles may finally be starting to improve
