Wow, Riders must be wounded! Now I've got to try and find time to watch this (there's a minor international competition that's piqued my interest at the moment).

Tonight's performance was the worst yet this season. Slow, little creativity and giving the ball away the entire game. Let's not take anything away from Glasgow - they looked more energetic and enthusiastic throughout. Defended really well. Deserved their victory.

Absolutely shocking. Something is seriously wrong. When was the last time a team lost double the amount of games than the previous season before December? The team just don't look right, so many non rob / no riders set ups and games this season. Is it time we blame Russ? Does Rob need to go? He's clearly struggling Hmm, two ways to respond to this. Firstly by calling you out on the heresy of speaking against Saint Rob. Or secondly by reminding you that even Saint Rob can have a bad season. Don't throw the baby out with the bathwater mate. π

This time they were far worse than last time. Is Washington injured? He hardly played tonight.

Just hope they have a safe journey home.

Wow wasn't expecting that scoreline!!
I actually thought because we had already lost (unexpectedly) to Glasgow earlier this season that we would win with a bit to spare tonight
We all know Rob hates losing and we normally learn from a loss and improve
I've not seen the game but sounds like Thornton had another bad night
We've been carrying him for weeks even when winning games easily
If Conner was missing as well than that doesn't help
But there's no hiding from this result. That's an absolute hammering we've taken with or without players missing
Well done Glasgow
We've got a problem at Point Guard. There's no point pretending any different. In other ways we are probably weaker than last season as well
But Rob will fix it. Simple as that.

How about recruiting Saah nimley IRF? πββοΈπ No chance mate, he's now earning a crust as Assistant Coach at Charleston Southern Buccaneers. Yup he's gone back to school. IRF, blind faith imho. A bit like the disclaimer your financial advisor always includes. "Past performance is no guarantee of future returns." π€

Other teams get hammered I just accept they are likely a bad squad badly coached and expect more of the same Riders get hammered and I look forward to Rob putting it right asap

Ps I agree it does show that talk of BBL clubs needing time to rebuild is really not the case
Each close season you get the chance to create a squad to compete often pretty much from scratch
Clubs either do this well, average or poorly
And the final League Table position doesn't lie

Maybe Caledonia are Riders Bogey team this season. I remember back when we were good I used to think of Worcester as the Eagles Bogey team that would usual knock us out the Trophy etc...
Either way both Riders and Eagles are going to be hungry for a win on Saturday and wanting redemption. And whoever loses is going to probably feel an even greater sting unless its a tight game.

He should not be above criticism, but anyone seriously thinking Rob should be anywhere near the hot seat at this point is either trolling or insane
Or both
