Lions are murder. Flyers deserved their win and Dekker aside the lions look like washed up has beens and brits that ain’t good enough. Koufos a prime example. Teams will smell blood and lions will lose plenty more games unless there are changes

39 and counting…..just saying I was thinking about changing this stat…. Which sounds better Plymouth haven’t beat us for 11 consecutive seasons or Plymouth haven’t beat us for 39 consecutive games Well looks like Riders fans can now mark it as 40 consecutive games. Although a back to back BBL loss for London early in the season is a surprise. Perhaps the BBL Championship might not already have their name stamped on it after all? Counting Europe that is also there 3rd loss in a row to? Not to take anything away from the teams that have beaten then and push them but I hope London aren't falling into the same trap as previous seasons and not showing the BBL as much respect as they should? As that would be a really foolish to do. Obviously now they have time to recover from this due to the international break but their next BBL game is a win or go home in the form of the cup. Against a team who has already pushed them this season on Sky in the Cheshire Phoenix. Whilst the next game might not stop them from winning the league it could stop then from sweeping it atleast.

Pleased to see Watson Gayle thriving in the BBL. Looks like a really good pick up for Bristol.

But there’s at least one banana skin in there - I’ll go for Cheshire Wouldn't even count that as a banana skin tbh I think Bristol might give London some problems It would be wrong of me not to say I told you so!! Must have been a real culture shock for some of the Lions players to play in such a small but packed arena in Bristol I said after watching Lions struggle to beat Cheshire at home a couple of weeks ago that they wouldn't go unbeaten in BBL They've lost two already since then Who's the poster who said they could win any game at will?

Well where do I start firstly great win for nix stayed in there and pulled out the win,not sure at the end whether garath was fuming at the refs or his team but certainly booted the ball into the crowd at the end not nice could of hurt someone, the boys in pink were awful again tonight didn’t think I would say this but think they are getting worse by the week,Sloan gets a t for slapping the floor in frustration then Murray gets a t for asking why, later in the game bench get a t for I don’t know what I was sat right behind the gladiators bench and couldn’t fathom out what for. Silly tappy fouls called and then not calling solid fouls but hey ho we won but I really feel the standard of the officials here are spoiling the game be interesting to know if this is countrywide or if it’s just me

Silly tappy fouls called and then not calling solid fouls but hey ho we won but I really feel the standard of the officials here are spoiling the game be interesting to know if this is countrywide or if it’s just me Close and exciting game with Nix pulling back a double digit deficit. Games like that depend on important single decisions two tonight ensured a Nix victory. One, David Sloan ran the game in the first half ending up with a 19 point total, half time Ben Thomas put Jamal Anderson onto Sloan.......second half Sloan had 4!! Second, Nix, 2 ahead, 55 seconds left, ball with Caledonians inbound from the back, the Nix string on the basket wasn't hanging down Caledonian assistant coach goes all the way down behind the benches and table, takes the mop off the court wipers steps on the court and pulls the string down. Everyone shouts, a minute or two consultation from " the boys in pink," then give Caledonian a bench technical for going on the court. That was the tecnical which confused teamnix. Nix hit the free throw then with fouls to give slow the game down. A couple of free throws each and a game starting with a Remembrance cornet ended with the fat lady singing. A weekend of win one lose one but two encouraging team performances.

Thought defences dominated in the Lions v Flyers game.
Flyers gave Lions shooters a taste of what they're getting from the perimeter in Europe and they didn't like it, and Delpeche was an animal inside against Koufos and Dekker.
Lions defence might be one of the most impressively coached things to watch in the BBL - absolute strangulation of Flyers at points, especially in Q3. Latter needed Watson-Gayle to go on a tear to get a deserved W.
Lions offence is not in the same park. They really miss Ovie's dynamism when he's absent. And if the shooters are harried the offence seems to consist of 'give it to Dekker', which will work a lot of the time but not all of the time. Lack of a calibre PG to make things happen obvious again yesterday. And man, Koufos just slows the play down all the time. If Sharma could shoot, Kosta would be back in his NBA role - team seems more effective with him out there if Ovie isn't.

I thought the same as Pabz from BTR on that thread - this Lions team with Rahmon would be unreal.

I'm certain that the extremely caring and thoughtful Vince would happily allow Fletcher to leave and join his old club for the rest of the season.

Perhaps they should have held on to Isaiah Reece, instead of letting him go to Russia.
