Really good performance from Surrey tonight, Lions showed there class in the 4th, if we can play like that every game we’re be fine, just need that first W to get the ball rolling.

Washington didn't turn up tonight and Walshe was awful.
Maybe we have to start looking for a 5th import, who's a decent three point shooter and can rebound the ball ... pity we can't get HahaLee .

The thing I respect about Riders under Rob is, despite absolutely stinking the gaff out (and they did by their standards, they were very poor tonight certainly offensively), whoever they play still has to be at their absolute best to get anything from them.
Tonight was one of them nights. Not sure Flyers will play too much better across the season - great showing by them but despite the injury problems I can’t help but think Riders will be disappointed.

But still, yes, they’ve now lost the same amount of games by mid-October than they did in the entirety of last season. |

But still, yes, they’ve now lost the same amount of games by mid-October than they did in the entirety of last season. Would have been tough games even if we had Geno Lions maybe a bridge too far this season regardless of whether we had Geno But not having Geno is the huge void to fill this season |

Not having Geno, all the other players are playing worse. Nelson-Henry was brilliant last season. Now he seems very ordinary.

Bristol are a team who last season really impressed me and were the reason Riders did not manage to sweep the league.
From the looks of things so far they're continuing that success and wanting to try and go one further in winning something this season.
Riders are a great team and still have plenty of weapons but losing Geno is like missing a huge piece of a jigsaw.
Could Bristol be the ones to defeat London?
From what I seen so far from London there good but given they have both a BBL and Eurocup campaign to balance there's no way they're going to go unbeaten in the league.

On current evidence they look weak at the guard spots. Nelson surprisingly hasn't shown and DVO isn't anything special. If you can cut the supply to the big guys and force the guards to shoot you have a chance. But they are DEEP
