For me it depends on which teams turn up for both sides. Having Johnson make his Eagles Debut will certainly help reinforce the Eagles. Although the Sharks destroyed us during pre season mind.
Hopefully it will be a good game for Sky Sports.

I think this is a good one for Sky Sports. Two fairly evenly matched teams.

I have sharks as the better of the 2 teams here and expect them to win although as ever in BBL team news will be important. Not expecting a high scoring game

Not expecting a high scoring game Although true, I think your last sentence is a massive under statement, and as for what spacejammer said above, I don't think either team has turned up. ZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzz

This is the worst game I've seen in quite some time. Not helped by the referees calling absolutely everything, again.

What an awful game. Newcastle are dreadful and Sheffield marginally better. Koch the only player who looked like he could play. BBL at its worst.

In the end, the team with eight Americans, two of which have British passports, prevailed against the Eagles who have the regulatory five import players.
Doesn't seem quite right to me.

Match summary. Awful and more awful. That's a game I will NOT be watching again. Looks like another tough season for Eagles fans.😡

Giants, Riders and I’m sure others make use of this too, I personally prefer when teams have a good core of British players, But there is nothing wrong with using dual nationalities imo EDIT: flyers too

Anyway I am confident that was the single worst game I’ve watched in the BBL in the relatively short time I’ve followed the domestic game
Everyone involved in that game Including the coaches and maybe even the fans should be embarrassed (except for Bennett Koch, he was good)

Oh right I understand what you mean now, I remember people talking about this before, surely there has to be an explanation behind it, I can’t imagine they’re just flaunting the rules with no repercussions Surely?

New team and coach, same problem for Eagles and now we don't have Fletch to pull us out the crap. I feel like the injury to RGB has helped doom us before a game was even played as we'll still be paying his contract. I'm not sure Cohn (despite his pedigree) is a worthwhile upgrade over McKissick and dropping the big Aughburns for another shooter in Donovan doesn't seem to help us much, especially with the whistle happy refs this season.

Missed the game. Don’t think I’ll bother on catch-up! A worrying start for Newcastle.

But don't fall into the trap of thinking American = better. Not always! Better than British, most likely yes, but not necessarily other places. The world has caught up to them now in standards of play (think this post has been influenced by having just been watching the Redeem Team documentary on Netflix!)
