1 win in 5 isn't a good read, really don’t know what to expect this season, not looking for miracles, I would like maybe a final, and playoff spot or close to.

Some good opening match ups for all teams in the BBL.
I will be curious to see how all these results pan out.
Are London the real deal or will last seasons runners up give them a earlier surprise?
Playoff Rematch between Giants and Flyers a new look Giants team up against a Bristol team looking to show they can be even better then last season.
And will Surrey be able to show they have turned a new leaf under their new leadership?

Great to see the Sky Sports start early this season and liked the new score bar.
Despite the loss I thought it was a very respectable performance for the Sharks who unfortunately let it go in 3rd Quarter where they lost it in my view.
Lions could get stronger although I do wonder if Europe might take its toll on their BBL campaign.
They certainly didn't tear Sheffield to pieces and blown them away like we expected them to do.
Although 1st game of the season I imagine will be more to come.
Sounds like the other games were good as well.
Although the stat cast was terrible so I struggled to follow.

London had so much talent 1 through 12 and had more to give I suspect. Great to see them commit to the defensive end. Dekker, Koufos and to some extent Soko were unguardable.
Shame Ratinho got in early foul trouble as I think that messed the rotations up. Nelson showed some glimpses, Banks and Ogunyemi looked a little caught in the headlights. Would have loved to have seen Johnson in a game like that.

I was most impressed by Sharks tonight, best performance I’ve seen for many a year.
I’ll be pleased if Riders can do as well next week, but not holding my breath.

I thoroughly enjoyed that. I hope more and more people give the BBL a chance. It’s good quality competitive basketball and top quality production by Sky Sports. Dekker was outstanding.

It’s very early doors, but the new Lions team looked good to me, especially Dekker and Koufos. Looking forward to seeing them in action in person at the Copper Box next week. Excellent coverage on Sky as always, well done to all those involved. I’ve also heard the YouTube coverage of the other games was decent too. Plus it looks like game highlights on YouTube might be a thing this season too, which would be great. Overall, it’s fantastic to have the BBL back, I’m ready for the ride.  |

Enjoyed both the Lions and Giants games. Think it's going to be a heck of a season with some great basketball played at speed.
Really hoping CJ Jackson proves his worth because we're going to need him playing at a high level.
