I also like the idea, as previously mentioned it needs decent TV coverage.

I also like the idea, as previously mentioned it needs decent TV coverage. It would need that and the owners of the league would need to be willing to invest the money into it. But I think if properly supported it would be better then the All Stars Championship.

Hi guys from watching other sports over the summer such as Champions League final and it got me thinking would having one of the finals in a different venue every year possibly be a way of growing the sport especially in non BBL cities? Like one year you play the final in Cardiff and the next year you go for Nottingham or Edinburgh etc.... Thoughts? The FA cup/EFL cup/EFL playoff/Papa John's Trophy Finals are at Wembley every year. The journey to Wembley is part of the mystique of the competitions. Some clubs even have songs for it. To compare that to the champions league that covers a whole continent is absent of any logical context. The NIA is the home of the cup finals, the O2 is the home of the playoff finals. Let's not just copy things for the sake of doing something different. But unlike the football which has more then enough growth and multiple English and Scottish league The BBL needs a growth of teams and to get more notority around the country. Which is why if they want to branch out then a new idea or initiative might be the way to do it. After all having a finals event in Birmingham atleast has planted the seed of a new franchise despite past failure. Plus if you go up to a friend who is into basketball from other parts of the UK and ask about basketball players. The first names they mention won't be Geno Crandell, Mike Tuck or Rahmon Fletcher. They would most likely be thinking of LeBron James, Steph Curry or Luka Donic etc... As well as teams LA Lakers, Boston Celetics and Chicago Bulls. However getting more brand awareness might suddenly make them realise their is actually a league here to.

And now we will have EuroCup to have no one to talk to about. I don't think I have ever watched EuroCup.
