I've only been following BBL and the Rocks since 2012 so my choices will be based on players I've watched.
Rocks - It's a bit of a tough one for me, I'm stuck between Mychal Green & EJ Harrison but have to go with EJ as I saw a lot more of him. I'll never forget his buzzer beater against, think it was the Lions. The roof almost came off that night.
Other - Drew Sullivan, I think of all the players I watched, Drew was the major standout and great ambassador for the sport in this country.

Can I say Rodman? 🤣 Not for his actual BBL games but he was always one of my favourite NBA players anyway!
If not, I'm going back a bit but for me it was Ronnie Baker and Steve Nelson.

For me I’m going with Jason Johnson Never won any Silverware with us but he was such a delight to watch and such a great guy off the court, Since his terrible accident I’ve been following his recovery via social media, He’s made such great steps in his recovery, unfortunately he will always require help in basic living. This one is going back a fair bit, Steve Bontragar( Sorry about the spelling) basically he was unstoppable.

What about favourite players who never played for your team? I'd say Nigel Lloyd (huge respect) and Roy Hairston (damn!)
Also favourite NBL player for those who watch(ed) it: Lavoris Jerry....man could he dunk the ball! Best dunker I've ever seen live and a damn good all round player too.

The one and only Eugene Waldron.
He was around when we first started attending Riders games.
Fun to watch, a great player, a Riders legend and always played with a smile on his face.
Watching him got me hooked!

My NBL nominee would be Jermaine Williams, a BBL level player for Reading Rockets in 02-03, i think that was his only season.

Lonnie Legette for Planters/Walkers or whatever we were called back then. He was the first Leicester PG I watched playing basketball and he was excellent but I have to admit this is largely for sentimental reasons. Nostalgia reigns. If I had to select the best player I've watched playing for Riders that'd be different.

I recall when Nigel Lloyd joined us about Xmas - we were crap up till then and as soon as he was directing plays we transformed into a really effective team. Super calm under pressure.

Waldon’s biggest mistake was joining Derby Storm.........Unforgivably

Im glad you said Jason Johnson - that guy was an absolute bulldozer and he was so high energy, I actually loved that Leicester team was the start of the rise under Rob P wasnt it? I remember being impressed by Phil Missere around the same time (may have been a season or two before/after come to think of it). Personally I learned so much from watching Bill Singleton. Yes he was a big dude but his basketball IQ is something Ive not seen matched since he hung his boots up. Fundamentally he was so solid. Actually throw Andre Smith in there too - he had such talent, left the BBL and top scored in Turkey and Italy at the top level - and played NBA summer league with Klay Thompson and the Warriors!

Tough being an Eagles fan, so many legends to pick from. If I had to pick one it would have to be Charles Smith, guy was pure class and had an incredible knack for hitting dagger 3s. Close second for Fletch, Defoe and Scott Martin.

Lost count of how many times he broke Riders' fans' hearts! But for incredible 3 point shooting and longevity it would have to be Russ Saunders.

I loved Achara, established GB player and was a standout player and a joy to watch.

Some choice. One of the most explosive yet dynamic players I've seen in the league. I was kind of sad the way he left Eagles under a bit of a cloud because he was a joy to watch

Also shout out to Calvin Davis and J-Ham here. There's not many I've seen that can play the 2-5 spots and play them all extremely well - and Chester had two of them at the same time.

So from what I gather, you had a brief bbl spell, Bigz? So obviously we should all be nominating you!😁
