This is 777 wielding their power in the BBL. They don't want Vince in the BBL, they didn't want Edwards either and gave Giants a list of demands that they had to fulfil to remain in membership. Giants have paid off all of Edwards' debts and have guarantees to fund them for several seasons. They're actually exactly the kind of ownership group 777 want. deep pockets but not deep enough to challenge Lions. But they don't want Vince, and this could get really messy. High Court messy. And if that sounds a bit far-fetched it's worth considering that 777 basically blew Lions 21/22 season up to get rid of Vince.
