Such a pleasure to see 5 players return. Of course the really big question remains unanswered atm.

Was half expecting Darien to go the way of Tyler this summer and call time on his playing career. Wasn't on the list of multiyear returnees so presumably is done studying now and will be costing the club more than in previous seasons?
Really glad we've got Whelan sewn up for another year and happy enough to see a decent chunk of last season's roster back. But I'll be disappointed if we don't make some serious attempt to improve the team this off season. We were coming off a treble the last time we took a shot at Europe. The only genuinely successful new player we signed that year was Tim Williams and we were out of Europe long before he arrived. The end result was a winless European campaign and a single domestic trophy.
The only remaining potential returnee I'm genuinely fussed about is Geno. I hope no news isn't bad news on that front.
