Well someone said they were bringing everyone back apart from 1 player so if that's true it's not going to be very exciting over the 7 days is it?!

They could've ran a spell check before publishing that video. Decent premise let down by the execution, makes it all look a bit amateur.
Be interesting to see how he gets on in a full season, enjoyed watching him up here against the Eagles last season.

Thought he'd be the odd one out and the one to go.

Got children in Plymouth, he wont go until he retires It's nice when players who have travelled around a lot in their career eventually put down roots and settle in one area and one club. It gives the player and the club more stability.

But what happens if the team decides they don't want him anymore?

He signs in Guildford and then the middle east!
Realistically, without a British passport he probably has 2 years max left over here. From watching last season he's clearly a 25 minute a game player, productivity drops massively after that. I wouldn't be surprised to see him become a coach within the patriots organisation after that. He already does lots of 1:1 sessions with kids in Plymouth

Patriots missed a trick by not getting Craig David to announce these players.

Today’s Announcement:
High flyer James Hawthorne Jr is now a Patriot !!
Hawthorne Jr, standing at 6”7, was not short of offers, it seems, after a second pro season last year in the Slovakian Extraliga with solid numbers, he certainly had a decision to make, briefly giving his reasons for joining the Patriots, saying “I chose Plymouth because of the level of interest that was shown to me. Coach Paul James was willing to give me another opportunity to handle business.” Hawthorne Jr also had a few words regarding what he might bring to the Patriots this season, adding, “I’m set on bringing a whole new energy to the club. I’m also ecstatic to meet the fans, being that Plymouth has some of the best fans in the bbl.... Once again, I am grateful to have this opportunity.”

I loved Tookie at Surrey so much energy, was a shame it was cut short due to covid, always wanted him to return, always felt he had unfinished business in the BBL.
