So Cheshire continue to announce players for next season,
And today’s announcement is now Ex London Lion Will Neighbour,
Personally I think it’s a step back for Phoenix, I thought they could really take a big leap forward after last season, What I remember about Neighbour last season was him cheerleading from the bench ever time a three got threw up, he was constantly on his feet with his arms in his air, Can’t remember him doing much more.
I hope he’s signed as a bench player, because if he's starting I can’t see any silverware going to Phoenix next season.

He had a few good games but never seemed to stay fit for long. If Nix can get the best out of him he'll be great for them. I don't think anyone other than Reese and Dirk came out of Londons season with their reputation enhanced.

Yeah he can probably add more than he did in London but you're right, seem like a step back

He’ll definitely be a bench player and he’s far from a bad one, I really cannot see why you are saying this is a bad signing, he offers more than Bakkali does, and offers something none of their other bigs do

Bit surprised at the criticism of this signing.
How many legitimate bigs who can shoot and have a British passport are out there?

I won’t turn this into an argument, so this will be my last message on it , but signing players who are better than the ones you already have for more money is absolutely not ‘a step back’

I think he's a really good addition. I'd question more the Lions coaching staff on why the didn't play him more last season (I know he was injured for some of the season). He was very good on that Plymouth team two seasons ago, if Cheshire can get that our of him again they've got themselves a player.

Teasing a signing of one of Manchesters players now, guessing Jamell most likely, then Steel, then Clark…
Prepared for it to be someone else now I’ve guessed half the team

One of the most underrated British players, missed most of last but led the league in rebounding the year before

One of the most underrated British players, missed most of last but led the league in rebounding the year before Definitely have to agree, hes one of those players who play under the radar, nothing flashy but gets the important things done effectively, I wouldn’t have minded seeing him at Riders to come off the bench. Not a big name but should be more effective than the Neighbour signing.

That's a decent big man rotation they've got in Cheshire, like what they've done so far. Without an import slot announced as well.
Don't know if I'm reading too much in to this, but does it confirm the expected mass exodus from Manchester. A lot of their fans seem to be living in blissful ignorance at the moment, and don't seem to realise they've been run in to the ground by another dreamer.

I won’t turn this into an argument, so this will be my last message on it , but signing players who are better than the ones you already have for more money is absolutely not ‘a step back’ One of the reasons why Nix does have a reasonable turnover is that players who have a good season with us are offered more money at other clubs. Parker-Cartwright was a star with us but moved upwards, No idea about Austin Jr. but I suspect his value will be a lot higher after his last season with us. Loopks like David Ulph with give big Mike a breather, he has always proved a capable and reliable squad member. Not certain that Neighbour would be offerdd big money after the season he had at Lions last season.
