Surely Giants going into administration would be news made public though if true?

So that could be one less team around next season, not great at all. 10 is already too few IMO, 9 is becoming farcical.

On the companies house website it doesn’t look too clever for Manchester Giants. Their accounts and confirmation statement are overdue.

They were promoting season tickets only 3 days ago on their twitter
If the directors know they are going into admin then they shouldn't be selling anything to anyone right now

Agreed. Nick Nurse did the same thing selling season tickets when he knew there wasn't going to be a season for the Bears before clearing off back to the States. I love him as a coach but that was a low move and I don't think folk ever got their money back. Hope it doesn't happen again here.

I did hear that the Lions were going to spend vast amounts of money on a team of individuals only to come away with their tails between their legs and not a sign of any silverware

Was Nick Nurse a director of the business Directors can be held personally liable if they continue trading whilst not a going concern? I can't believe Giants would be promoting season tickets just 3 days ago if they are sure the club is no longer a going concern

Yes he was basically sole owner/director by that point and financial issues was a big part of why he went back to the States. There was talk of him possibly being arrested when he returned to the country some years later as team GB assistant coach but nothing happened.

I wouldn't trust Edwards to watch my beer while I have a piss, let alone with hundreds of pounds of season ticket money.
Hasn't he gone bankrupt before or have I misread that somewhere

Fletch told he isn't wanted back by Steutel Now thats what I call a rumour!! If it's true that's an early promising sign for Eagles fans that Steutel isn't scared to take tough decisions

Fletch told he isn't wanted back by Steutel That would be a shocker and I hope it isn't true as Fletch one probably one of the few players I would actually bring back. A bold decision by Marc and shows we are looking to certainly change things up next season. Although getting rid of the Eagles fan choice of player MVP last season may not give of a popular first impression.

Brave move if true and one that could be seen as madness or genius depending on how the season goes, he’s obviously still one of the best guards in the league but there’s a never ending list of American point guards to replace him with

Brave move if true and one that could be seen as madness or genius depending on how the season goes, he’s obviously still one of the best guards in the league but there’s a never ending list of American point guards to replace him with And those American point guards won't be half as expensive Can't see how it can be described as madness based on recent results of Eagles It's an obvious decision to make for a club which doesn't have a huge budget to spend on players right now If it's true it will be interesting to see if another UK club will try to sign him though

If Eagles want to challenge for honours then changes have to get made.
There's always room to improve and at the end of the day you want more teams challenging for silverware.

Genius or madness seems about right. Fletcher is a proven quality guard who is incredibly consistent and rarely misses games with injuries.

I heard a rumour that Sam and Milehigh are getting married, and IRF is a bridesmaid Mods - leave the post is my suggestion. Just delete the poster It serves as a really great reminder about how Hersey ruins sports forums and why we are all on here in the first place He sent me a lovely little PM yesterday as well from yet another ID he's set up on here! That I see you've had to delete as well!! Bless him It's actually pretty sad he's got nothing better to do with his life Leave the post. It will just embarrass him once he sobers up Well at least it would embarrass a normal person! We are all obviously living rent free in his head
