Thanks for that mansfieldmike, I have updated it, for some unknown reason I was looking at the wrong date on the Livestats page.

Just a thought can the threads be organised in to NBL, BBL, NBA sections, etc - I'm finding it a pain to navigate to what I want to read... Maybe just me. Another suggestion - pin this as a sticky at the top of all posts for a single livestats link and people can scroll to the game they need: www.bbl.org.uk/livestats/It's saved as a favourite in all my browsers for that exact reason.

There's only 1 NBA and 1 NBL thread so I think they just have to be 'floaters' rather than have their own section. From next week we'll have game day threads to break the game discussions up more but without clogging up the whole page with individual game threads, see how that goes.

Some interesting games this weekend I think the ones that look most interesting is Cheshire vs Leicester.
Leicester maybe unbeaten but Cheshire played a great game against Rocks and seem to be on form right now. Cheshire also gave them a good fight earlier on in the season. And for Riders it will be a good warm up match to prepare for the final next weekend.
Sheffield and Bristol also stands out and I look forward to seeing it on sky and for the milestones on Atiba and Tuck.
And with Plymouth having the weekend off Newcastle and Surrey will be trying to pick up wins and build momentum for the playoffs so will be keeping an eye on them. Although for the Eagles having Giants and Lions in the same weekend is going to be tough.
Having said that we have ran the Giants close twice and slipped up at the end so hopefully 3rd time lucky for the Eagles. And with London losing a coach hopefully the moral will be lower then last week for Lions. But I imagine after losing to Plymouth last week Manchester will be wanting to regain some momentum and try to prove a point tommorow and crush us.
Looks like another exciting weekend of Bball!

Looks like a good comeback from the Giants, Fairplay to them, and it seems like a very competitive game on sky, I think I’m going to pick the Giants game to watch the end of though, the lack of British players on both the Sharks and Flyers makes it hard for me to care about either

Giants gonna rue these missed rebounds if they lose
Also that pass from Clark to Steel for the long 2 was absolutely beautiful

What a crazy game, Manchester seem to love being in these kind of games this year, Armstrong and Rahmon were both awesome, and I’ve seen a few comments about Peel underwhelming this year but he did so many good things today, super impressed with him

Definitely Peels best Eagles game tonight, finally seems to be coming good. Probably Persons best game too. Dan Clark needs to stop whining at the refs all the time.

On form Can’t see eagles Winning either game this weekend Spacejammer What did I tell ya Steve! 😏 Told you it would be 3rd time lucky. Great win for the Eagles and well deserved. I bricked it at the end when Brandon missed those free throws and Clark shot up that 3 but asides from our win over London that was probably our 2nd best performance this season. Great play and good all round contribution for the Eagles and what was even more promising was we did it without Darius having to play as much in the 2nd half or having to dominante the game as well. I joked saying it felt judt like old times since we were actually playing well and criticising the refs for poor inconsistentancy. At times i wondered if they even knew the rules since they allowed the wrong free throw shooter at the line and didn't reset the clock when we retook possession. Woudlnt have surprised me if they called an off side or 7 point shot as well. As for the Giants they played well and a great game plus i hope the player who went down injured is okay and is back to health for the finals. Although Hudson had a shocking game and Dan Clark really does lack discipline. For the GB captain I wasn't impressed with the amount of times he claimed he was fouled or whinged to the refs. I said going to the game he would pick up a tech and I wished I had put money on it when it happened. For Giants hopefully tonight was a good dress rehearsal for what to expect from Riders in the final. Although losing to 2 bottom table sides in recent times certainly puts the odds in Leicesters favour. But if you pardon the pun January certainly has proven to be a month for Giant killing so maybe that could haunt Riders as well. Well done Eagles! No matter what happens at Lions atleast we will be going 1 for 2 this weekend. 🏀🥳🦅

Manchester point guard is just so Quick He’s unstoppable I agree Tyrik Armstrong was quick last night and hard to stop with 40pts!!! I was relieved again when he finally fouled out. Although Fletch got the MVP I think an honourable mention should go to Duke as he did an excellent job guarding Clark last night and making things difficult for him. I wonder if the ladies coach going made Ian think he's not as safe in the role unless he turns the results around towards the end of the season?
