Well final day of the regular season and for either the Eagles or Patriots the season ends today for one of these teams. The winner is set up for a date and an uphill battle with the out of their league Leicester Riders. If I was a neutral I probably would be rooting for Plymouth as I feel their probably the more deserving for what they went through this season and how they recovered. But I hope the same Eagles that played Glasgow on Friday show up and steal the show. All I can say is may the better team win today Go Newcastle Eagles! š š¦
Anything can happen in the playoffs. Riders won it from 8th in the past.

Well as I said at the start of the day may the best team win and today that certainly was the case. Well done to the Patriots, both their team and fans were excellent in that game.
Whilst the refs were a little foul happy and that Tech on Defoe at the end was questionable. The Pats certainly played the better ball and made sure we never caught the lead even when we got close. In a way I was almost glad we didn't win as it would have felt ugly had we gotten away having played so poor as a team.
With that being said I do feel for Fletch who was clearly devasted after that loss. Was definately my MVP today throughout the game as he kept us in it the most. Gordon while he had a better 2nd half was sadly late to the party and if that was Defoes last game which we have said is a long time coming he will be also be a big miss for us. As for the rest of the team today embarrassing!but on the plus side atleast theirs a lot of room for a better season next year.
It's going to be weird watching this year's playoffs as a neutral. I'm sure some Leicester fans might already be celebrating already after this result.

Congratulations to Plymouth. Not watched the game yet but I feel that this season we have got exactly what we deserved. A big fat nothing. Work for next season now goes into overdrive. Onwards and upwards, as they say...

Fair play to Plymouth they did enough, Johnson, peel and person not good enough Johnson and Peel have both proven good enough for BBL success in the past under a different coach and system I wouldn't write either of them off as Eagles players under a new coach (If they want to stay on board)

Onwards and upwards, as they say... Wonder if next season's coach already knows they have the job and has been watching last few games and making a plan on which players to try to keep and which to let go? Would make sense if they have

Stream from Manchester is an absolute disgrace. Two different feeds, not synchronised, poor audio, unwatchable.
Now stopped. What a joke.

London let it get too close too many times for my liking, but Iām happy with the win and 3rd place in the championship. Roll on the plays offs!

Well there you have it the Playoffs are officially
1st-Riders vs 8th-Patriots
2nd-Sharks vs 7th-Rocks
3rd-Lions vs 6th-Nix
4th-Flyers vs 5th-Giants
All should be interesting and exciting match ups even Pats vs Riders if the Pats are as up for it as they were today.
