Stat that stood out was the complete lack of any offensive rebounds from Scorchers, shots going up and no attempts to follow them in.

Do what you've always done etc.
If Surrey simply carry on with the same modus operandi that has got them absolutely nowhere for the last how ever many years then they indeed may as well go NBL.
That way their loyal, but misguided, fanbase can watch a big fish in a smaller pond and be tricked into thinking that the team they follow are a success.
Just like the 777 situation, it is very difficult to understand the motivation behind Surrey's backers' involvement in the game.
Just like 777, they appear to be disinterested or maybe just incapable.
