Unreal with 0.5 seconds on the clock! He couldn't even land his feet before shooting!!

Why’s he even allowing it to happen? Just play the game, he’s such a good player Without that angry edge he might never have become the player he is I think he will go on to become a good coach in due course Student of the game and clearly cares more than most players Think it rather shows he's hotheaded and he's no use to the team sat in the changing room. Other teams will know they can wind him up and watch him go. It's a big weakness.

He always seems to fall out with the refs by continuing to question every call they make. This then manifests itself inside his head before he finally loses it. The opposition don’t really need to get involved.

I’m not sure if it’s players trying to hack him OR he is just too bloody quick for them. Be interesting to know how he coped prior to playing for Riders (was it In Czechoslovakia).

His edge is definitely part of what makes him the player that he is. Do I worry that he might blow up and cost us a game at a crucial point - maybe a little. Does he go one on one at times and sometimes force things to make a point when players or teams get inside his head - probably (although that often works in our favour because of how good Geno is). More importantly though, how many games has he cost us? Personally I can't remember any. How many has he won us. Loads. He's the best player in the league by a distance. Definitely has his flaws. But I'll take him and his flaws every day of the week.
Personally I felt like the ejection today was the leagues best referee taking the chance to eject the leagues best player to show him he's not scared to do it. It was a 40 point game in a dead rubber. Not so sure that call is made if that's a title decider. Not saying it shouldn't necessarily, but that it probably wouldn't.

Agree he's excellent and we won the league in huge part because of Crandall's skill BUT I think his anger at the refs is getting worse and he needs to rein that in. He moaned/complained to the ref after a foul had been called on the guard defending him. Hardly surprising then immediately after that his blowing up at the other end of the court meant it was goodnight Vienna. Understand why they'd had enough of his antics. Don't get me wrong - of course I want him to re-sign for us next season but ideally having learned to deal better with refs' decisions.

Sharks have struggled to match up with Glasgow this year (could bite them in the playoffs) and were second best last night, despite being in front with half a second on the clock. Sad to hear that Antwain Johnson's Achilles injury vs Lions was season ending. Not sure about rehab but wouldn't be surprised if he's not ready for start of next season - not that I expect him to come back to Sharks or the BBL as he could play at a higher level but it was great to have him while it lasted.

That injury must be a huge blow to Sharks playoff hopes With an Achilles injury you may well get him back at some stage as he will need to prove his fitness before another club will take him ?

Says more about Crandell than the referees.
