I always look at whether changing the coach would improve the team. Really not convinced this would be the case with Eagles' current collection of players. They're hardly a 'team'.

Your are right, maybe changing coaches might not work. This time next season we might be saying that whoever takes over hasn't made an impact or the Eagles haven't solved other problems. But I think had we stuck with Mac next season then some season ticket supporters would have started dropping out. And again when it comes to reputation and the fact we haven't looked competitive. Then keeping him the role would be a sign that nothing is going to change. Which is exactly what the Eagles fans are asking for right now. Again I don't blame this season completely on Mac and I know the way some of the players have approached the games, recruiting and other factors have also impacted. And I hope the Eagles will also look to address and sort them out to in good time. But we have atleast been respectable and fair to Mac so theirs no hard feelings. And at this point I would rather we took a risk changing coach and that coach not be so great. Then keep things the same and have another disappointing season next year. |

Makes sense that. Hopefully a quick return to Eagles usual form. As an opposing fan it's been really odd looking at them as an easy win for most teams than as one of the teams to be measured against.

This is the real chance to start building something new for Eagles
Will they take that chance?

However you will have to remind exactly when did Kyle Williams have a brilliant season for us? At times this season I have forgotten he has even been here. Probably the first player I would Axe from the current squad. |

However you will have to remind exactly when did Kyle Williams have a brilliant season for us? At times this season I have forgotten he has even been here. Probably the first player I would Axe from the current squad. That's my mistake I added Williams in as a player that needs replacing late on in the post when I'd already written the fabulous bit for Defoe and Fletch! He's certainly not come anywhere close to being fabulous for you ever Fletch is without doubt a hall of fame BBL player By far the best point guard in BBL for most of his career at Eagles But he's not any more let's be honest Still a great player no doubt But if a new Eagles coach is serious about re-inventing Eagles then the salary spent on Fletch may be better spent elsewhere IMO You might not replace Fletch with one single player But there's clearly limited budget to spend currently at Eagles Will be interesting to see what happens But if a new coach wants to make their mark then now is the time to really start afresh Young, athletic and new Can't do any worse than this season can they? |

I still think fletch is the 2nd best point guard in the league, wouldn't argue if someone put him first either Fletch obviously won't be cheap Eagles need a deeper squad and Paul Blake has made it clear money is tight at the moment He's certainly not easy to replace But Eagles need to do something significantly different to start competing for the league again The budget from Fletch Defoe Williams Could be spent on 4 quality players I'm sure Obviously needs some good recruitment But like I say What have Eagles got to lose compared to this season? |

Nix appear to find a number of talented players from somewhere, all credit to Ben Thomas and others in the club for their skills. |

What if Leicester got rid of Rob to find a coach who could win a clean sweep?
I'm sure Newby will keep fletch, a proven stud at the point guard position. I'd probably keep Sayers too as a great bench player, Gordon although is good clearly wants to move up so I wouldn't bother with him. Corey Johnson has done OK, does he have a passport? I'd keep him if he did, the rest can go
