GB men so far won one (Netherlands) lost one (Czech Republic).
Next game is home to Greece on 21st November at the Copper Box Arena.
I'm a big fan of this. I know some people in the North and Midlands won't be but we want to build basketball in our capital, so Team GB needs to be there.

I can't seem to find anywhere that says the venue for the game is the Copper Box or that the venue has been decided at all. If the games are no longer going to be played in Newcastle then it's been a good run watching 8 games on my doorstep over the past 4 years. Including some emphatic wins against Germany, Greece and Holland. As well as witnessing both NBA stars and ex Stars Kristapps Portzingas and Shane Larkin play too. If they were to go elsewhere now I would understand especially given the new basketball purpose venues being built at Sheffield and Caledonia why they might try to showcase at a new venue. The only thing that I wish they would do is have the game particularly the home televised and free to watch so fans who aren't able to travel to the game can still tune in.

It's been announced on X but the tickets aren't on sale yet. x.com/gbbasketball/status/1847965082363335108And I agree, getting the game viewed by as many Brits as possible should be a priority.

I hope this works out for them - I went to the GB v Greece game in Newcastle and despite it well known in advance Greece would be missing anyone involved in Euroleague fixtures clashing with that international window, they still had a good support but plenty locals, Scotland and others ensured GB was the dominant part of the crowd. With more tickets available - may be easier for the visitors to make it sound like a home game for them. Hope not.

Although when we played Turkiye and Lativa their was so many away supporters it drowned out the GB fans which sucked considering we were the home team. From the 8 GB games I saw, the only one that was kind of boring was our game against Belgium which had no life to it but the Mc guy worked hard that night to try and entertain the crowd. Hopefully London will be able to attract Greek fans still but also bring in even more Brits to cheer the team on.
