Rough week for the Gladiators having only been playing in Europe yesterday (Tuesday)
Also only one game from the southerners....

Gladiators will be wanting to bounce back after their mid week loss in Germany but I would have to say advantage should be with the Eagles if the Gladiators are fatigued.
For Eagles though this is the beginning of 4 games in 7 days for us so it will really rest our grit.
Although 1 more win should surely see us through to the next round in the Trophy atleast I think.

26 points in the first half is a killer, you can't expect to win games doing that.

Oh my, I've just noticed Cali had 16 offensive rebounds but only 6 second chance points. Killer! Add that to Sam's point, how poor that Eagles gave them a chance to tie at the end? I reckon we stole that one.

There was a 3rd qtr meltdown in there as well Third quarter meltdown when Llewellyn was given some minutes. Look at the ± Spencer +12 and Llewellyn -11. I suspect if we had have played Spencer and Okaru at PG we'd have won pretty comfortably. Hopefully he'll come good in time being a rookie but he's getting absolutely torched at the minute and teams are starting to target him. |
